The story behind the design

The order of the morning.

Every birder knows how the morning goes. The alarm beats the sun, the binoculars go on before the kettle, and the coffee waits. Sometimes it waits a long time.

Our in-house artist drew it by hand: a blue jay taking the first sip, because anyone who has left a mug on the porch rail to chase a call knows who really drinks it. Birds first. Coffee second. Maybe.
